Das Bank

2014 brought a lot of new exiting projects and it was time to grow and move into new premises. In July 2015 after 7 months of refurbishment, we moved into our new home, “Das Bank”.

With the help of Wirral Council, the European Reginal Development Fund, and Finance Wales, we managed to build our dream facilities, a techies playground, with offices, workshops, meeting room and research space.

It features a fully integrated showroom Operating theatre, a first at the time in the UK, 4K video editing facilities, 3D printing for rapid prototyping and custom component production to 3D rendering. We packed the place full of technology, we even have our own inhouse PACS system to be able to fully simulate hospital workflows.

The facility has allowed us to test, research and simulate new systems, software and develop products. It is pivotal to us being able to trial, adopt and implement new technologies fast and efficiently.

Of course as with all refurbishment and exciting build projects, we completely blew our budget, but in return our little high tech hovel was rewarded with the InAvation award for best medical AV system worldwide in 2017.
